  1. Can all rooms be configured as king or twin?
    Yes, all our rooms can be set up as either a king or twin configuration.
  2. Can a third person be accommodated in any room?
    Yes, our Terrace Suites and some Cliff Veranda Suites can accommodate an additional bed for a third guest.
  3. Do you provide cots?
    Yes, we offer complimentary cots upon request.
  4. Do you offer valet parking?
    Yes, valet parking is available for all guests.
  5. Are children allowed in the pool?
    Yes, children are welcome in the pool when supervised by an adult. Please note we do not have a lifeguard on duty.
  6. Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
    Check-in is from 3pm. You’re welcome to use the hotel facilities if you arrive earlier. Late check-out is subject to availability, but you may continue to enjoy the facilities after checking out. Check-in for the Cliff Beach House, the Cliff Cottage and Cliff River Lodge is 11 am and check-out is 4 am.
  7. Can I reserve a window table in advance?
    Window tables cannot be pre-booked, but they can be requested. We will do our best to accommodate requests, although they are not guaranteed.
  8. What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Check-in is from 3pm; check-out is by 12 noon.
  9. Is Wi-Fi complimentary?
    Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
  10. Is the hotel pet-friendly?
    Yes, we have two pet-friendly Deluxe Terrace Rooms. A deep-cleaning fee of €50 applies in addition to the room rate.
  11. Are any rooms accessible?
    Yes, we offer two accessible rooms: one Deluxe Balcony Room and one Terrace Suite.
  12. Do you have electric car chargers?
    Yes, charging stations are available in our underground car park. We recommend bringing your own leads.
  13. Do rooms include a coffee machine?
    Yes, all rooms are equipped with a coffee machine.
  14. Do rooms have a fridge?
    Yes, all rooms include a fridge.
  15. Do all rooms have sea views?
    Yes, every room overlooks Ardmore Bay.
  16. What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit and debit cards.
  17. What dining options are available?
    Our Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar is open daily. House Restaurant, our MICHELIN-starred dining room, is open Wednesday to Saturday evenings.
  18. Do you have family rooms?
    Our Terrace Suites and Deluxe Terrace Rooms are interconnecting and can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 children.
  19. Where is the hotel located?
    Cliff House Hotel is located on Middle Road, Dysert, Ardmore, Co. Waterford, P36 DK38 — just a 2-minute walk from Ardmore Beach and the Cliff Walk.
  20. What leisure and spa facilities do you offer?
    Our facilities include an indoor pool, outdoor heated Jacuzzi, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, small fitness centre, and The Well by the Sea spa.
  21. Can you help arrange transport or car hire?
    Yes, our concierge team can assist with transport or car rental when arranged in advance.
  22. Do you have a children’s play area?
    Yes, we have a children’s playroom, a table tennis area, and children are welcome in the pool when accompanied by an adult.
  23. What is your cancellation policy?
    We offer free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival. Different cancellation policies apply for Cliff Beach House, Cliff River Lodge and Cliff Cottage.
  24. Are children allowed in your restaurants?
    Children are welcome at House Restaurant, though space is limited and we cannot accommodate prams, pushchairs, or bassinets. There is no children’s menu and all guests are served the same menu. House Restaurant welcomes children aged 6 and older. For younger guests, we recommend exploring our alternative dining options.
  25. Is there a dress code?
    Yes, we kindly ask guests to observe a smart casual dress code.
  26. Can I host a private event at the hotel?
    Yes, we offer bespoke event and private dining options. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
