Chef Patron Tony Parkin brings over 22 years of culinary expertise to House Restaurant, with his cooking style shaped by diverse global influences. Starting his career with an apprenticeship at 16, Parkin has honed his skills at internationally acclaimed establishments such as Noma, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, and Northcote.
Before joining House Restaurant, Parkin served as the Chef Patron of the MICHELIN-starred Tudor Room at Great Fosters Hotel in Engham, UK. His exceptional talent earned him the prestigious MICHELIN star and four AA Rosettes, solidifying his reputation in the culinary world.
Parkin’s arrival at House Restaurant on October 22nd, 2022, heralded a new and exciting chapter for the establishment. He has meticulously crafted a menu that integrates robust French and Thai flavours, giving the restaurant’s offerings a distinct global flair.
His approach combines locally sourced ingredients with global techniques, celebrating Irish heritage while supporting local suppliers. Under his guidance, the MICHELIN-starred House Restaurant has become a beacon for culinary enthusiasts, offering a unique dining experience that marries international sophistication with the authenticity of Ireland’s finest produce.
I was blown away by Ardmore, and with the hotel and its location overlooking the bay. Fresh, local seafood will definitely be a highlight of my new menus, and I’m looking forward to meeting and working with all the fantastic local producers in the area, with which the team at House have already built great relationships.
