Running from 13th – 22nd of June, Cork city will come to life with exhilarating arts experiences for the Midsummer Festival. This annual arts celebration uses Cork city as a backdrop and inspiration for high quality arts events and a platform for emerging artists in all art forms to engage with the public and display their talent.

Comeraghs Wild Festival
Running from 10th – 13th July this festival is a lively open-air celebration that combines the pleasures of walking, storytelling, music, and delicious food all set against the stunning backdrop of the Comeragh Mountains.
The festival invites visitors to explore scenic trails that cater to all levels, from gentle strolls to energizing hikes. Live music fills the air as musicians perform on stages nestled in nature, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
At its heart, the Comeraghs Wild Festival is about connection, bringing people of all ages together to share stories, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate community. It’s a joyful blend of nature, culture, and creativity that encourages everyone to slow down and savour life’s simple pleasures: walking, listening, eating, and being together.

30th West Cork Chamber Music Festival
Running from 27th June – 6th July, the acclaimed West Cork Chamber Music Festival in Bantry marks its 30th anniversary with a ten-day celebration featuring eighty musicians and nearly sixty concerts.
Performances will take place in the stunning settings of Bantry House, St Brendan’s Church, and venues across the town. Festival highlights include performances by the Ardeo, Marmen, Chiaroscuro, Tchalik, and Doric Quartets, as well as renowned artists such as Barry Douglas, Mairéad Hickey, Lotte Betts-Dean, Ella van Poucke, and Henning Kraggerud.
The Festival Fringe brings free, family-friendly concerts to unique island locations—Whiddy, Sherkin, Bere, and Heir—as well as to distinctive venues from Skibbereen to Castletownbere. Former BBC Radio 3 presenter Sean Rafferty will host engaging “Talking Music” interviews with participating musicians, while young artists can take part in masterclasses and explore Ireland’s only dedicated instrument exhibition, running throughout the week.

Spraoi International Street Arts Festival
Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, will come alive from 1st to 3rd August with the vibrant energy of the Spraoi International Street Arts Festival. Over three days, locals and visitors alike will mingle as the city’s streets and squares are transformed into dynamic stages for an eclectic mix of world-class performers. All events are free, with daily programmes kicking off at lunchtime and continuing late into the night.
Spraoi is a celebration of spectacle, contemporary circus, music, dance, comedy, and delightful chaos, offering something for everyone. With attractions suited to all ages, it’s a truly inclusive, cross-generational experience. The festival culminates in a dazzling parade of hundreds of costumed performers winding through Waterford’s historic streets, capped off with a breath taking fireworks display over the River Suir.
