Chef Patron Tony Parkin's Culinary Approach

With over 22 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Patron Tony Parkin’s approach is shaped by an array of global influences. Following an apprenticeship at the age of 16, Parkin worked in a number of internationally renowned restaurants, including Noma, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, and Northcote.

Prior to joining House Restaurant, he was the Chef Patron of MICHELIN-starred Tudor Room at Great Fosters Hotel in Engham in the UK. In addition to the MICHELIN star, he won four AA Rosettes for The Tudor Room.

When he began his journey as Chef Patron on October 22nd, 2022, it marked an exciting new milestone for the restaurant. Parkin has infused the current menu with strong French and Thai flavours, lending House Restaurant’s gastronomic offerings a distinctive flair.

I was blown away by Ardmore, and with the hotel and its location overlooking the bay. Fresh, local seafood will definitely be a highlight of my new menus, and I’m looking forward to meeting and working with all the fantastic local producers in the area, with which the team at House have already built great relationships.
