Our hotel has a strong history of high profile yet discret gatherings and team building events.

Combine our very special hotel experience with some superb creative activities, all available in our local area.

All of the following activities are available in and around Ardmore itself;

Archery, Sea Kayaking, Kayak and Climb, Snorkelling, Stand-up Paddle Boarding, Surfing, Rock Climbing and Abseiling, Coasteering.

Paintballing: This thrilling paintballing Glenbradagh farm in Upper Aghada, Midleton. Expect a no-holds-barred approach and plenty of fun.

Whale Walks: Andrew Malcolm is West Waterford’s best guide for nature walks – and can lead you on bespoke foraging, whale and birdwatching hikes. Dolphins, fin whales, minke and the occasional humpback are quite easy to spot between November and February each year, off the Ardmore cliffs. Capitalise on this rare pleasure by wrapping up warm, with binoculars, campstools and flasks of warm drinks provided by the hotel, and head out with Andrew to spot these spectacular creatures. €50 per person for a two hour session, reduced group rates available.

Easy Local Walks: Of the walks from our hotel’s front door, the Ardmore Cliff Walk(5km, 60 mins) is highly recommended. Cunnigar – a long sandy strip across the mouth of Dungarvan Bay – is another excellent nearby route (6km, 90 mins), and Lady Louisa’s Walk from Lismore Castle (2 km, 30 mins) that takes in the River Blackwater. Mahon Falls is a horseshoe walk around a waterfall near Bonmahon (4km, 120 mins).

Guided Day Hikes: At The Cliff House Hotel, we can provide guided hiking through the Comeragh Mountains with Ardmore Adventures.

Driving Time: 35 mins

Take a forage walk with our friendly hotel forager on the cliff of Ardmore or on the local beaches.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about, identify and pick commonly found wild leaves, flowers, fruits, nuts and mushrooms depending on the season.

You will then have the pleasure to see and taste what was picked during your meal in our House restaurant that same evening.

The hotel has an award-winning spa – The Well with indoor pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, seaweed baths and gym.

If your delegates are looking to rest and unwind we can tailor make a bespoke spa package for your group.
