Seas the Day
So good for us that some doctors are even prescribing it, sea swimming is made easy and accessible with Seas the Day at Cliff House Hotel from €464 for two people.

Check into your seaview room and have an early evening session with your tutor in our infinity pool. Your tutor, an avid sea swimmer and highly qualified elite trainer and teacher, will guide you through your first day’s session in the pool at Cliff House Hotel, along with a discussion of sea swimming’s benefits, an analysis of your technique and a little practice.
That evening enjoy dinner in The Bar Restaurant with its focus on seasonal local produce and foraged ingredients, and get an early night in preparation for a morning in the waves, weather permitting, the following day.
Meet your tutor bright and early in the morning for another half hour session, either back in the pool or, if you have a wetsuit with you and the weather allows, in the seawater rockpools or beach by the hotel, followed by a well-deserved leisurely breakfast.
This package includes a one night stay in a seaview room, a three-course dinner in the Bar Restaurant, two half-hour sessions with your pro swim tutor for up to two guests.
Seas the Day costs from €464 for two people sharing and is available Sunday and Monday night stays from February until April.

Sandy Paws
It’s a doggie holiday too at Cliff House Hotel. Our Sandy Paws offer is available from €360 per night for two, including breakfast plus one dog guest.
Our team will provide homemade dog treats, available on arrival. Enjoy long clifftop walks and doggy paddles in the sea with your fluffy companion, before drying them off with their complimentary towel. Dogs are welcome to join their family on the Terrace and enjoy a relaxing nap at their owners’ feet.

Pre-booking is a must as dog-friendly rooms are subject to availability. Dog guests must be 30lbs or less as rooms are not suitable for larger dogs. A sleeping crate is available to borrow from hotel reception. For health and safety reasons, dogs should be leashed and supervised at all times and not left alone in rooms. Dogs are not permitted in bar or restaurant areas.

Along with indulgence and relaxation we also have plenty of Adventure in the wilds of West Waterford with many outdoor activities on your doorstep. Rent bikes and cycle the picturesque Waterford Greenway. Alternatively book a hike up The Comeragh Mountains, situated just 40 minutes from our self catering cottage.
If you fancy staying closer to home, you can collect a map of the local Cliff Walk. This is an unguided walk of Ardmore Head where you will pass Father O’Donnell’s Well.
