Youghal Honey

Youghal Honey

Youghal Honey is made by our native Irish Black Bees in the hedgegrows, meadows and forests of Knockmeelmore and along the valleys of Finisk, Licky and Blackwater rivers in the beautiful Youghal hinterland.

The bees make honey with nectars from a wide variety of flowers including willow, blackthorn, whitethorn, chestnut dandelion, sycamore, lime and white clover. This honey is pure unblended Irish honey; an entirely natural food to which nothing is added.

Robert Anthony, the beekeeper is a member of the Irish Beekeepers association and Native Irish Honey Bee Society. He also takes part in the Irish Bee Conservation Project. Youghal Honey is registered with the Dept. of Agriculture and Food.
